In the Record pane of Record Edit (Notebook). It can appear in a record and any subrecords.

Description:

This field stores the description of an event or a culturally significant fact identified by the title. Contains the main body of textual data for the record.

You want to preserve the accuracy of your data, particularly the data in this field. So, editing of the data is discouraged, especially if it’s been more than a few days since a record was written.

The description can have embedded vernacular words. You can right-click a vernacular word in this field, and then select Find in Dictionary or New Entry. If the right-click menu contains commands related to vernacular spelling, you will need to determine if the spelling is correct or not, and add it to the dictionary.
