In the Record pane of Record Edit (Notebook). It can appear in a record and any subrecords.

Description:

This field displays and references one or more items from the People list to document who participated in the event.

You can add the roles of the participants (Accused, Accuser, and so on) below this field. Right-click the Participants field label, or click the menu button () to see the list of roles you can add. If necessary, add new roles to the Roles list.

For a record with content in the Text field, the participants in this field also appear in the Participants field in Texts & Words.
