Do these steps to choose a view from inside the Configure Dictionary dialog box:
In the Navigation Pane, click Lexicon, and then click Dictionary or Lexicon Edit.
On the Tools menu, point to Configure, and then click Dictionary.
The Configure Dictionary dialog box opens.
Do one of these steps:
Below Choose the view to configure, click the down arrow (
), and then click a view.
Click Manage Views to use the Manage Dictionary Views dialog box.
In the left pane, click a view. Click Close.
The name of the view appears at the top of the Configure Dictionary dialog box.
Click OK to close the dialog box or configure that view.
Alternatively, select (
) a dictionary view.
The view affects what you see in Dictionary, the Dictionary preview pane, and the Dictionary Entry dialog box.
When you Configure Headword numbers, the configuration is for the current view only.
