In the Navigation Pane, click Lexicon, and then click Lexicon Edit.
In the Entries pane, click the desired entry.
In the Entry pane, if you cannot see the appropriate Restrictions field (see Important below), show hidden fields.
Do one or more of the following:
For restrictions at the entry level, click the Restrictions field that appears above the Sense label(s), and then type the restriction(s).
If you have more than one writing system shown, type the content in the appropriate lines.
For restrictions at the sense or subsense level, click the Restrictions field that appears in the applicable sense or subsense, and then enter the restrictions.
If you have more than one writing system shown, enter the content in the appropriate lines.
Restriction fields appear at the entry-level (Restrictions), and in each sense and subsense (Restrictions).
You can configure the dictionary to display content entered at the sense or subsense level, but not at the entry level.
Each field is a single-line text field. However, the Restrictions field in a Sense is multi-Unicode, not multi-String, so it does not store any formatting information, such as styles.
