To delete a word from the current text but not from the word list, do the following:
In the Navigation Pane, click Texts & Words, and then select Interlinear Texts.
In the Texts pane, click the text that has the word you want to delete.
Click the Baseline tab.
Select the word you want to delete, and then do one of the following:
On the Edit menu, click Cut.
Press the Delete key or the Backspace key.
(Do
not click on the Standard
toolbar. That will delete the entire
text.)
The selected word is removed from the current text record. Cut (or Ctrl+X) saves the word to the clipboard so you can paste it back in the text. You can also use Undo on the Edit menu to restore the word.
Deleting a word in the Baseline tab does not remove the word from the word list. However, it can negatively affect the Text Chart tab contents for that text. You can also use the Change Spelling feature to correct misspelled words.
To delete a word from the word list, see Delete a wordform or Bulk Edit Wordforms.
