Do one of the following:
In your Internet browser, copy the URL from the Address bar.
Copy the words that are already hyperlinked to the desired URL from a text document or email.
In FieldWorks, navigate to the area, and then tool or view where you will create the hyperlink.
Do one of the following:
In a text field, select the words you want to change into a hyperlink. Type new words, if necessary.
Click the text field where you want to put the insertion point.
On the Edit menu, click Paste Hyperlink.
The selected words becomes a hyperlink, or the URL path appears.
If you mistakenly used the Paste on the Edit menu or the shortcut keys Ctrl+V, then the pasted URL is only regular text. In this case, select the text you want to be the hyperlink, and then use Paste Hyperlink to change it into a hyperlink.
When you rest the mouse pointer on the hyperlink text, the pointer becomes a .
You can use Cut, Copy, and Paste to move or copy a link to another location or FieldWorks program.
If no text is selected when you click Paste Hyperlink, the entire path appears in the field.
This pasted path will typically become a hyperlink. If not, select that path, and then click Paste Hyperlink to make it a hyperlink.
You can use the left-arrow and right-arrow keys on the keyboard to move the insertion point into the link text so you can edit the text in the hyperlink.
