To modify a style, you can select it in the Styles list, click the Font tab, and then do the following:
In the Writing systems list, do one of the following:
To set font attributes for all writing systems, select <default settings>.
To set font attributes only for a particular writing system, select it.
In the Font list, do one of the following:
If the style can inherit the font from its parent style, click (unspecified).
Instead of specifying a font explicitly for a parent style (for example, Normal), we recommend that you click <default font>.
You can specify the default font for each writing system on the Font tab of the Writing Systems Properties dialog box.
If necessary, you can click a particular font for a particular writing system.
If the font is Graphite-enabled, you can select Font Features.
Do any of the following:
Size — click the down arrow, and then click a font size.
You might also need to change the exact line spacing on the Paragraph tab.
Font color — click the down arrow, and then click the text color.
Background — click the down arrow, and then click the background color.
Underline style — click the down arrow, and then click the text underline.
Underline color — click the down arrow, and then click the color for the text underline.
Bold, Italic, Superscript, or Subscript — click to use (), not use (
) or inherit (
) an attribute.
Position — click the down arrow and then click Normal, Raised or Lowered to set the vertical position of the text relative to the baseline.
Normal means that the text is not raised or lowered (the By box is 0 (zero). If you use the up arrow or down arrow to raise or lower the value in the By box, the Position box changes when you move past 0.
By — click the up or down arrow to set the number of points you want to raise (positive values) or lower (negative values) the text.
The inherited values of unspecified attributes appear in gray.
