Phonemes overview

In order to use environments, which refer to either phonemes or natural classes, you need to create a list of all the phonemes in your language. The Phonological Rule-based parser requires fully specified phonemes.

For each phoneme, you need to enter one or more graphemes that represent them. For example, in Greek, the /s/ phoneme has two such graphemes:
(which is used word finally) and (which is used everywhere else).

Enter the phonemic character in the Refer to as field and in the first Grapheme field. If other graphemes appear in the orthography, enter them in inserted Grapheme fields.
