Specify publishable lexical data

Totally exclude an entire lexical entry from a publication (as a headword, all senses, examples, and any references to this entry from elsewhere)

Remove that publication from the Publish Entry In field below Publication Settings. This overrides other selections, such as in the Show Subentry under field, Show Minor Entry field (entry) or Show Minor Entry field (variant).

Exclude an entry as a main entry headword (it can appear as an indented subentry headword in a root-based view)

In the entry you want to exclude, remove the publication from the Show As Headword In field.

Exclude a sense or subsense from a publication (as a sense in the lexical entry, and any references to this sense from elsewhere)

Remove that publication from the Publish Sense In field in the particular sense or subsense.

Exclude a pronunciation from a publication

Remove that publication from the Publish Pronunciation In field for that Pronunciation field set.

Exclude a picture from a publication

Remove that publication from the Publish Picture In field in the particular Picture field set.

Exclude an example from a publication

Remove the publication from the Publish Example In field from that Example field set.

Specify that you want a variant form to be available for display (minor entry)

Select () either the Show Minor Entry field below the Publication Settings field in the variant entry,

or,

the Show Minor Entry field below the Variants field in the main entry.

Lexeme-based dictionary views:

 

  • Specify that a complex form that references a component entry should be available for display

Choose the complex form in the Referenced Complex Forms field below the Publication Settings field.

  • Specify that a complex form that references a particular sense or subsense should be available for display

Choose the complex form in the Referenced Complex Forms field in the particular sense or subsense.

  • Specify that you want a variant form to be available for display (minor entry)

Select () either the Show Minor Entry field associated with the variant form below the Variants field in the main entry,

or,

the Show Minor Entry field below the Publication Settings field in the variant entry.

Root-based dictionary views:

 

  • Specify that you want a complex form entry to appear as an indented subentry under a component entry

Choose the complex form entry in the Subentries field in the component entry.

  • Specify that you want a variant form or complex form (could be a complex form that is also a variant) to be available for display (minor entry)

Select () the Show Minor Entry field below the Publication Settings field in the main entry.

Hybrid dictionary views:

 

  • Specify that you want a complex form entry to appear as an indented mini-subentry under a component entry

Choose the complex form entry in the Subentries field in the component entry.

  • Specify that you want a variant form to be available for display (minor entry)

Select () either the Show Minor Entry field associated with the variant form below the Variants field in the main entry,

or,

the Show Minor Entry field below the Publication Settings field in the variant entry.
