(The available menu commands depend on the item's position in the hierarchical structure and number of senses in the entry.)
Move Up
Move Down
Demote
Promote
The current subrecord, or subrecord of a subrecord, moves
one position vertically (up or down) to change the order,
one position hierarchically (promoted or demoted) within the record, or
from a subrecord to become a top-level record. If you promote a subrecord, it becomes a record. You see this in the Title column as the title now appears in bold font.
Subrecords are numbered, for example as 1 Event, 2 Observation, and so on. Subrecords of subrecords are numbered, for example as 1.1 Event, 1.2 Observation, and then 2.1 Event,2.2 Observation, and so on. The hierarchy can go deeper, such as 1.1.1. Observation and so on.
You can move subrecords, and subrecords of subrecords, up or down to change their order within a record. You can promote or demote any of these in the hierarchical structure.
